Allow validated host file and directory mounts outside resource directories
while protecting external paths from deletion.
Clean up cancelled deployment containers and clear tracked process IDs.
Preserve legacy KeyDB and Dragonfly password parsing, accept server backup
paths without extension restrictions, and allow Compose variable proxy ports.
- On cloud, RestartService and RestartServiceApplication now run on the
deployments queue instead of high.
- StartProxy and RestartProxyJob, and the remote processes they start,
now run on the deployments queue.
- Self-hosted still uses the high queue.
- Tests cover the new routing.

- Parse and dump the proxy Compose file with custom tags, so `!reset` and
`!override` survive the traffic analytics update and `{}`/`[]` keep
their type.
- Remove the Traefik log rotation sidecar when the proxy stops or another
proxy type starts.

Proxy port validation parsed the configuration with plain Symfony YAML,
which rejects Docker Compose tags such as !reset and !override. Proxy
start, restart and save then failed for these valid configurations, and
automatic start after a reboot stopped silently. v4.3.23 did not block
on such configurations.
The parser now reads custom tags and validates the values inside them,
so malformed ports are still rejected. CheckProxy refreshes the status
of a running proxy before it reads the configuration, as in v4.3.23, so
an unreadable configuration no longer hides a running proxy.
Coolify copies acme.json to a timestamped backup before every change and
keeps the last 10. The proxy page lists the backups with Restore and Delete
for team admins, and the restore dialog can restart the proxy right away.
A non-root SSH user cannot open redirects, expand globs, or cd into
/data/coolify (9999:root 0700). Several remote commands relied on that
and failed on non-root servers.
- Write README files with `tee` instead of shell redirects in database
starts and application deployments
- Clear Postgres init scripts with `find` instead of a glob
- Split the proxy config backfill if/else so each branch gets sudo
- Start the log drain with `docker compose -f` instead of `cd`
- Wrap the preserved-repository compose start in `sh -c` for non-root
- Stage clone archives outside /data/coolify via StagesCloneArchives
- Extend the sudo parser and add non-root command tests
The proxy directory is 9999:root 0700 on the Coolify host, so a
non-root SSH user cannot cd into it, open redirects in it, or expand
globs there (#4255).
- Start/restart proxy with absolute `docker compose -f` and
`docker stack deploy -c` paths instead of `cd $proxy_path`
- Write the Caddyfile via `tee` instead of a shell redirect
- Check for and prune config backups with `find` instead of globs
- Read the config size with `stat -c %s` instead of `wc -c <`
- Add feature tests for non-root proxy commands and record the lesson
Development mode rewrote /data/coolify paths to the dev Docker volume
for every server. That is only right for the testing-host backend,
which uses the host Docker daemon. The KVM localhost and other dev VMs
have their own /data/coolify, so bind mounts, Compose content files,
the Traefik and Caddy traffic mounts, Sentinel, and database proxies
pointed to wrong paths there.
- Server::sharesDevHostDocker() and devHostDockerPath() decide per
server; only the testing-host server (ip coolify-testing-host) gets
the volume path. Production is unchanged.
- The testing-host volume names come from the Compose project
(DEV_COOLIFY_DATA_VOLUME, DEV_COOLIFY_BACKUPS_VOLUME), with the
legacy names as fallback.
- In development, saved proxy configurations with the old path are
fixed when they load and ask for a proxy restart.

Older Coolify versions saved Traefik configs with a router that sends
requests with the proxy container name as Host header (for example
traefik-coolify-proxy) on port 80 to api@internal. New installs no
longer get these labels, but saved configs keep them after an upgrade.
- Replace only the unchanged legacy labels with traefik.enable=false,
keep comments and formatting, and skip routers the user customized.
- A migration and GetProxyConfiguration fix the saved config in the
database only. The proxy is not restarted; the UI asks for a restart.
- Change the pending notice to "Your configuration changed, please
restart the proxy."
- Resolve conflict markers committed in the Server Proxy component,
which broke the proxy page.

- Proxy: list and delete Traefik ACME certificates from the server proxy
page via new TraefikAcmeService and Get/DeleteTraefikCertificate actions
- DNS: track ownership and cross-resource references for managed DNS
records so records are only deleted when no longer referenced; release
records asynchronously on resource deletion via ReleaseManagedDnsRecordsJob
and ManagedDnsRecordCleanup; harden Cloudflare provider deletion results
- Databases: fail closed on start when prerequisites or the CA certificate
are missing (DatabaseStartException, Server::ensureCaCertificate) and
clean up stale start activities via ResourceStartActivity
- Webhooks: throttle repeated manual webhook signature failures for
GitHub, GitLab, Gitea and Bitbucket
- Deployments: improve compose build-context handling and compose file
load error reporting
- Install scripts: rework terminal UI output in install.sh (stable and
nightly)
- Misc: settings sidebar accordion fixes, log drain toggle rollback,
add Serverside to README sponsors
- Add migrations and tests covering the above
Store each server's Docker version and build stop commands via
dockerStopCommand() so newer Docker uses --timeout instead of
deprecated --time/-t. Also show Docker version in server details.
Add validation in GetProxyConfiguration to detect when stored proxy config
belongs to a different proxy type (e.g., Traefik config on a Caddy server)
and trigger regeneration with a warning log. Clear cached proxy configuration
and settings when proxy type is changed to prevent stale configs from being
reused. Includes tests verifying config rejection on type mismatch and
graceful fallback on invalid YAML.
- Store proxy configuration in database as primary source for faster access
- Implement automatic timestamped backups when configuration changes
- Add backfill migration logic to recover configs from disk for legacy servers
- Simplify UI by removing loading states (config now readily available)
- Add comprehensive logging for debugging configuration generation and recovery
- Include unit tests for config recovery scenarios
- Fix sudo prefix bug: Use word boundary matching to prevent 'do' keyword from matching 'docker' commands
- Add ensureProxyNetworksExist() helper to create networks before docker compose up
- Ensure networks exist synchronously before dispatching async proxy startup to prevent race conditions
- Update comprehensive unit tests for sudo parsing (50 tests passing)
This resolves issues where Docker commands failed to execute with sudo on non-root servers and where proxy networks were not created before the proxy container started.

Add wait loops to ensure containers are fully removed before restarting.
This fixes race conditions where docker compose would fail because an
existing container was still being cleaned up.
Changes:
- StartProxy: Add explicit stop, wait loop before docker compose up
- StopProxy: Add wait loop after container removal
- Both actions now poll up to 10 seconds for complete removal
- Add error suppression to handle non-existent containers gracefully
Tests:
- Add StartProxyTest.php with 3 tests for cleanup logic
- Add StopProxyTest.php with 4 tests for stop behavior

- Add automated Traefik version checking job running weekly on Sundays
- Implement version detection from running containers and comparison with versions.json
- Add notifications across all channels (Email, Discord, Slack, Telegram, Pushover, Webhook) for outdated versions
- Create dismissible callout component with localStorage persistence
- Display cross-branch upgrade warnings (e.g., v3.5 -> v3.6) with changelog links
- Show patch update notifications within same branch
- Add warning icon that appears when callouts are dismissed
- Prevent duplicate notifications during proxy restart by adding restarting parameter
- Fix notification spam with transition-based logic for status changes
- Enable system email settings by default in development mode
- Track last saved/applied proxy settings to detect configuration drift
- Added a new function to extract custom proxy commands from existing Traefik configurations before regenerating the proxy configuration.
- Updated the proxy configuration generation logic to include these custom commands, ensuring they are preserved during regeneration.
- Introduced unit tests to validate the extraction of custom commands and handle various scenarios, including invalid YAML and different proxy types.
- When you restart the proxy on an instance domain, the proxy stops and is removed, but never restarted. So you loose access over the domain and have to go in over IP and Port.
This is because we are doing the restart directly in the UI instead of in the background via a job, and the proxy is serving the UI domain.
- Refactored proxy container name determination based on environment.
- Implemented a smart port checker that accurately identifies port conflicts, including dual-stack scenarios.
- Improved error handling and user feedback for port usage issues.
