- Adds Unicode 17 support - Fast paths for ASCII - ANSI escape sequences as grapheme clusters - Implement UTF-8 C1 control sequences - Implement 8-bit ANSI Breaking change The returned iterator type from FromString() and FromBytes() is now a pointer. This will not present a problem if you are just using it in the typical way, which is assigning to a local variable and iterating. If you are embedding this iterator into another object, and therefore declaring its type, this change might break your compilation. You’ll need to change to a pointer type. Development
docker/cli is developed using Docker.
Build CLI from source:
docker buildx bake
Build binaries for all supported platforms:
docker buildx bake cross
Build for a specific platform:
docker buildx bake --set binary.platform=linux/arm64
Build dynamic binary for glibc or musl:
USE_GLIBC=1 docker buildx bake dynbinary
Run all linting:
docker buildx bake lint shellcheck
Run test:
docker buildx bake test
Run the unit test:
$ make -f docker.Makefile test-unit
Run the full test suite:
$ make -f docker.Makefile test
List all the available targets:
make help
In-container development environment
Start an interactive development environment:
make shell
