+Master's #6063 moved the re-render in `onDiffRenderersChanged` into
+`DiffHelper.RenderToMainAgain`. Its dark/light switch in `gui.go` calls the
+same helper. Commit 5, "Keep your place in the diff when switching diff
+renderers", conflicted there. The user chose to put the two
+`PreserveDiffPositionOnRerender` calls inside the helper, so a switch between a
+dark and a light terminal background keeps your place too. `DiffHelper` now gets
+`DiffLineHelper` injected in this commit. PR 7's "Show git's own diff when the
+renderer's can't be acted on" did the same injection later and now only adds
+its comment on the field. The commit message gained a paragraph about the
+dark/light switch. Rejected: the calls in `onDiffRenderersChanged` ahead of the
+helper call (when the helper doesn't render, the restore stays installed and
+the next render claims it, perhaps of another item), and a `beforeRender`
