Removing `config export image` from the production binary did not — it still ships. It's blocked on the website generators, which shell out to it.\n\n**Two causes found and fixed** in the wasm render path:\n\n- **A segment with nothing recorded never turned on.** `Enabled` was only ever set from the writer, so with none the segment fell straight to its fallback and drew nothing — including `text` segments, which need no data at all and whose entire content is their template. `1_shell` has several. `Render` already settles this correctly everywhere else by asking whether the text came out blank, so now it does that here too.\n- **Numbers arrived as the wrong type.** JSON has one number type, so unmarshalling into a map makes everything `float64` where the struct would have produced whatever the field declared. `sysinfo` renders `{{ round .PhysicalPercentUsed .Precision }}`, and `round` wants an int — so `Precision` of `2.0` failed a template that `2` rendered fine.\n\nThat took the failures from 16 to 14. Progress, not a finish.\n\nAlso swept up: the fixture guard now understands that a recorded entry is an envelope and that a key naming a method isn't the typo it hunts for, and `azpwsh` left the fixture — **it isn't a registered segment type, yet `cloud-context` and `pixelrobots` still name it.** That's a pre-existing bug in two shipped themes, unrelated to any of this, and worth its own look.\n\n**14 themes still fail**, `1_shell`'s `sysinfo` among them, and I haven't isolated which expression. The generic `unable to create text based on template` hides the real error; getting at it needs the debug log rather than the rendered output.\n\nCLI is unaffected throughout — goldens pass, full suite green, 19 commits, clean tree.\n\nMy honest read: this is a third sitting on the same last mile, and each one has found a genuine bug rather than converged. The type-fidelity issue in particular suggests there may be more of its kind, since it's structural — every recorded value crossing JSON loses its Go type. Worth deciding whether the SVG removal is worth continuing to pay for, or whether keeping a 37 KB encoder in the CLI is simply the cheaper answer."}],"stop_reason":"end_turn","stop_sequence":null,"stop_details":null,"usage":{"input_tokens":1,"cache_creation_input_tokens":1183,"cache_read_input_tokens":934083,"output_tokens":818,"server_tool_use":{"web_search_requests":0,"web_fetch_requests":0},"service_tier":"standard","cache_creation":{"ephemeral_1h_input_tokens":1183,"ephemeral_5m_input_tokens":0},"inference_geo":"not_available","iterations":[{"input_tokens":1,"output_tokens":818,"cache_read_input_tokens":934083,"cache_creation_input_tokens":1183,"cache_creation":{"ephemeral_5m_input_tokens":0,"ephemeral_1h_input_tokens":1183},"type":"message"}],"speed":"standard"},"diagnostics":null},"requestId":"req_011CdWt3ipUcAKZyevLGJad9","type":"assistant","uuid":"96efc212-d3a1-4e61-a74e-a753049a0769","timestamp":"2026-07-29T19:13:27.710Z","effort":"high","userType":"external","entrypoint":"claude-desktop","cwd":"D:\\oh-my-posh","sessionId":"fee3d769-a091-4d71-92d3-133134ec3cbf","version":"2.1.219","gitBranch":"themes-svg"}

Removing `config export image` from the production binary did not — it still ships. It's blocked on the website generators, which shell out to it.\n\n**Two causes found and fixed** in the wasm render path:\n\n- **A segment with nothing recorded never turned on.** `Enabled` was only ever set from the writer, so with none the segment fell straight to its fallback and drew nothing — including `text` segments, which need no data at all and whose entire content is their template. `1_shell` has several. `Render` already settles this correctly everywhere else by asking whether the text came out blank, so now it does that here too.\n- **Numbers arrived as the wrong type.** JSON has one number type, so unmarshalling into a map makes everything `float64` where the struct would have produced whatever the field declared. `sysinfo` renders `{{ round .PhysicalPercentUsed .Precision }}`, and `round` wants an int — so `Precision` of `2.0` failed a template that `2` rendered fine.\n\nThat took the failures from 16 to 14. Progress, not a finish.\n\nAlso swept up: the fixture guard now understands that a recorded entry is an envelope and that a key naming a method isn't the typo it hunts for, and `azpwsh` left the fixture — **it isn't a registered segment type, yet `cloud-context` and `pixelrobots` still name it.** That's a pre-existing bug in two shipped themes, unrelated to any of this, and worth its own look.\n\n**14 themes still fail**, `1_shell`'s `sysinfo` among them, and I haven't isolated which expression. The generic `unable to create text based on template` hides the real error; getting at it needs the debug log rather than the rendered output.\n\nCLI is unaffected throughout — goldens pass, full suite green, 19 commits, clean tree.\n\nMy honest read: this is a third sitting on the same last mile, and each one has found a genuine bug rather than converged. The type-fidelity issue in particular suggests there may be more of its kind, since it's structural — every recorded value crossing JSON loses its Go type. Worth deciding whether the SVG removal is worth continuing to pay for, or whether keeping a 37 KB encoder in the CLI is simply the cheaper answer.","type":"text"}]}
