Log:
- **2026-09-27 (later):** **PR 5's `select_below_a_long_commit_message`
failed once on CI** (git latest, on PR 11's branch): the pane's buffer ended
at `-two`, the first change line, and the test asserted on `+TWO` below it.
Each read-on asks for `LinesHeight()` plus a render's worth from the
content-only refresh, which runs on the UI thread while the reader is still
serving earlier requests. So where the reading stops depends on timing, and
only the first change line is guaranteed. Measured with temporary logging
over 300 local runs: no failure, the last read-on anywhere between 869 and
1019 lines. The test now asserts on `-two`, in a `fixup!` of "Show a
selection in the focused main view" left at the tip of
`rerecord-demos-and-update-readme` for the user to fold in. No code change:
a user can't tell the difference, since focusing above the diff lands on the
middle visible line and scrolling reads further.
- **2026-09-27:** **The stack rebased onto master** (`cfbbf18656`, past
#6061–#6071: author colours, `{{colorScheme}}` for diff renderers, dark and
light themes, pushing and pulling stacked branches, tag range selection). The
